Ruaille Buaille Lucan Childrens Music Festival is now in it’s tenth year and is taking place in schools, Lucan library from Wednesday 7th – Saturday 10th June.  Ruaille Buaille in Griffeen Park on Saturday 10th June is a great FREE family day out.  As well as an array of great performances, workshops and events in the park, there will be plenty happening including face-painting, circus performers, storytelling, pop-up shows and a foodie corner.

Returning to the park this year is singer, actress, ex member of Celtic Woman and multi platinum recording artist, Lisa Lambe. Lisa has toured the world and Ruaille Buaille is delighted she has made the Ruaille Buaille in Griffeen Park one of her gigs for summer 2017. Also featured this year are The Henry Girls, The Gregory Walkers, Indigenous People, Brian Fleming and Instant Orchestra with Nico Brown  and Lucan Gospel Choir.

Lucan gospel Choir in association with http://www.partystudio.ie are offering one lucky young singer the opportunity to win a recording contract for a song with the choir. The choir are working with a number of youth groups to perform in concert alongside them in the park and on the day one  individual will be chosen to record a track with the choir singing the lead solo.

Other highlights of this year’s festival include a new Trad stage with special guests in association with Music Generation South Dublin, a mini-music marquee with early years workshops for our youngest festival goers and the Mobile Music Machine is back this year by popular demand.

PowerFly’s world champion flyboarders will perform stunning aerial acrobatics and there will be a veritable flotilla of ships, many of which are open for public tours. Another top attraction will be the return of the famous tall ship, The Phoenix, which was a huge draw at SeaFest 2016.
