One of the dominant make-up looks on the catwalk this season is a mostmodern and matt lip with blurred lines. No need for any new products to achieve this look, just follow my super easy steps.

Firstly, your lips need a little tlc by way of preparation as a matt lip is always less forgiving and can settle into cracks and dry patches on your lips. So once or twice a week get into the habit of exfoliating your lips before bed. All you need to do for this is gently scrub wet lips with a soft toothbrush and then slather on lots of lip balm or Vaseline.

No lip liners required for this look so leave them aside for now. This look is modern and the lip line is slightly blurred and blended rather than the sharp and defined look that a liner gives. Next apply your chosen lipstick and blot using tissue paper and translucent powder as illustrated below

et Voila! Gorgeously matt and bang on trend. Nice way to update your lipstick look without actually having to go out and buy anything new.
